      Slow Document Syncing

      Windows Defender has a Real-time protection setting that will cause Datalink sync times to increase to several minutes. A typical full sync should take no longer than 45-90 seconds.

      To turn off the real-time protection follow these steps:

      1. Open Windows Defender Security Center

      2. Click on Virus & threat protection

      3. Click on Virus & threat protection settings

      5. Switch the Real-time protection setting to Off
